I love the boldness of bringing together two large patterns. The wallpapers tend to be tone on tone or one color while the fabrics are a bit more complicated. All images are from Harlequin and their Lucido Damask collection.

Not only do I love the wallpaper and love seat with the nail heads but the vase for the flowers is beautiful too!

Very feminine and pretty in pink!

So soft and subtle but the color is gorgeous! I would have rather seen the chair fabric on a more contemporary style of chair. I'm tired of this chair style personally.

This beautiful image is from Architectural Digest's Editiors Present Designers' Sources. Watts of Westminster - Camberwell is the fabric/wallpaper name.

I so want to use this fabric in a window treatment. Gorgeous color, almost monochromatic with pattern that isn't shouting at you and the look of being worn appeals to me.

Osborne & Little wallpaper collections.


Cannock - from their Spring 2008 collection. Hip, purple and elegant all at the same time. Great for a bedroom.



Jonas - From a much earlier collection but I enjoy the geometrics and southwest influence.


Pap Plain - Just cozy and lovely. I'm not a big fan of red but this paired with the soft gray and purple/fuschia works.


Radnor - It's purple, silver and black!!! Bold and beautiful. :) I could see this in an entry way of an ultra modern apartment.

~~ Lust Over Wallpaper (a continuation)

The following images are all from Candice Olson Wallpapers. I enjoy her program on HGTV (one of the few that I do like) due to the realistic view she offers when it comes to interior design. She also impresses me in how she completely re-works the spaces.

I also have to admit to my dislike of wallpaper borders. They tend to be too themey and outdated. Anyone else have this phobia? :)

~~ My Lust Over Wallpaper

Have I mentioned that I lust over wallpaper? Second only to fabric and trim. I enjoy the unexpected colors some of the wallpapers have. Fresh, fun, a bit over the top but still within the comfort level to live with. What do you think?
