I believe this to be a flower... what type I've no clue but it reminded me of fireworks and since the new year is coming soon I thought my version of a purple firework would be appropriate!

That does look like a firework!
I think crepe myrtles in bloom look exploding fireworks in the summer.
But I'm posting as a cat, so my imagination is somewhat overactive.
