~~ Ado Booth

Talk about turquoise! I took this photo during a Window Fashions Expo. The booth belonged to a company called Ado. They specialize in drapery/sheer fabrics. I apologize for the photo and it's non-clarity but what I really wanted to show was the color. The pairing of a pure white with a pure turquoise. The roman shade behind the drapes has a lovely long fringe of turquoise as well!

~~ Aqua-Turquoisey Lucy!

The colors in the ad made my day when I saw them! I love Lucy (wannabe)'s outfit. I want it! I would love however to see her shoes I am sure they are to die for. I can see the fabric of her skirt used as drapes in the room. Yes, this is an ad for Armstrong flooring and the windows had drapes and sheers but to me they were uninspiring. Thus the need to re-do them. :)

Oh, and I want her brooch as well!

~~ Turquoise Bangles

Since Jackie Blue started the bangle idea I have to share my current favorites.




Sedona Indian Jewelry is where I found these. I am starting to collect turquoise jewelry and covet a cuff. I love that turquoise comes in all ranges of aqua blue to greenish blue. My preference leans towards the more greenish/brown turquoise since I'm not particularly a 'blue' color fan.

I must find out what that purple stone is in the photo above! Anyone?
